Branding & Product Development
Digital Media Production Class | Art Director & Instructor
In this project, students partnered with Portland-based outdoor startup Intreked to develop a full brand identity and product concepts. They conducted client interviews to understand goals and audience, then created logos, visual identity systems, websites, social media content, and marketing campaigns including commercials.
Students also designed original outdoor products and collaborated with engineers to develop prototypes, bridging creative ideas with real-world application.
The project concluded with a formal client presentation, where branding and product designs were chosen to move forward, with several concepts ultimately patented.
Led by me as Art Director and Instructor, this project gave a team of eight students hands-on experience in branding, client communication, and collaborative design—resulting in a highly successful real-world outcome.

Collaborative Crest Design Project
Graphic Design Class | Art Director & Instructor
In this project, 22 high school students collaborated to design a series of crests for a Houston-based middle school house system within a two-week timeline. The focus was on teamwork, idea generation, and translating concepts into cohesive visual designs.
Students learned how to organize and develop ideas through multiple phases of the design process, ultimately creating vector-based crest designs. Each student contributed elements—whether symbolic imagery, stylistic direction, or conceptual ideas—that were incorporated into the final outcomes.
This project emphasized collaboration, creative problem-solving, and foundational design skills, resulting in unified designs that reflected a collective vision.
